Itinerary
Moray Maras and salt mines are the two unique places in Cusco. If you have the opportunity to visit it, do it. It is a tour that takes you to the circular terraces of Moray that the Incas used as a laboratory to acclimatize plants that grew in warm places that they can grow in higher and colder areas. Then we take you to visit the salt mines in Maras which still uses it as a small salt factory that locals extract it to sell in the local markets. We meet in Cusco at the main office at 8:30 am to take a car for 1.5 to Moray, where the guide will explain all about the enigmatic circular terraces. You will have free time to explore the area and take pictures. Then we continue to the salt mines of maras where you can walk inside and touch the salt pools the guide will teach you all about it also if you like you can buy some souvenirs made out of salt. Afterward, you go back to Cusco for 1.5 hours car ride, arriving in Cusco around 3:00 pm.

MORAY:
