Inca Jungle Trek is an alternative tour to the traditional Inca Trail. It is perfect for people who stay a short time and want to see a lot of Peru. You have the opportunity to do cycling, rafting, Zip-Line / Canopy and relax in the thermal baths. They can also observe tropical fruits and coffee, cocoa and coca plants. The best thing about this adventure trip is that you will finish your trek in the incredible Machu Picchu.
DAY 1: CUSCO - SANTA MARÍA - SANTA TERESA
We will pick you up between 6:30 and 7:00 in the morning of your hotel. From there we went to Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley, where we will have our breakfast. Then we continue our trip to the Abra Málaga at 4'316 meters above sea level, the highest point of the trip and where we will start the descent by bicycle. The tour lasts three and a half hours during the descent, we will observe beautiful landscapes, local villages and a variety of flora and fauna, until we reach the town of Huamanmarka. From there we will continue by car to the town of Santa María, where we will have lunch and have the opportunity to raft / canoe in the sacred river of the Incas, Vilcanota. To end the day we will go to the thermal waters of Santa Teresa by car, the trip lasts one hour.
DAY 2: SANTA TERESA - AGUAS CALIENTES
After breakfast at 6:30, you will have the opportunity to do the fun Canopy / Zip Line / Zip Line activity that lasts approximately two hours. Then we will take a car to Machu Picchu Hydroelectric, where we will start walking for half an hour to reach the restaurant. During the break you can enjoy a beautiful panoramic view of the mountains of Huayna Picchu, Machu Picchu Montana and the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. To end this day we will walk for two and a half hours by the side of the railroad to Aguas Calientes. With luck we will be able to observe the national bird of Peru, the Gallito de las Rocas.
DAY 3: MACHU PICCHU-CUSCO
Around 4:00 a.m. we will get up to go to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu. The walk will be an hour and a half. In the tour you will have the opportunity to see a beautiful sunrise. After checking in at the park control at 6:00 am we will continue the visit inside the Inca citadel accompanied by our Guide, who will share their knowledge and show us the most important places of Machu Picchu. After two hours of guidance, they will say goodbye to their Guide and you will have free time to explore and feel the magic of Machu Picchu. To end this beautiful day you will take the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo. And from Ollantaytambo to Cusco it will be by car.
